Maria Venegas Sanchez qualified from the University of Extremadura with a degree in Podiatry. She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in diabetes at the same university. Maria is a member of the Royal College Of Podiatry and a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council. Maria is a specialist in the treatment of musculoskeletal foot and lower limb problems, as well as diabetic foot care.
Book an appointment with MariaHello, my name is Maria, and I am from Spain. I like meeting new people and discovering new places. I’ve travelled the length and breadth of my country and now I´m enjoying exploring the UK. One of my particular travel highlights was visiting Russia, where I loved meeting new people and experiencing an interesting culture. I’m already planning my text trip which will be to Scotland after which I’d like to head to central Europe. Then the rest of the world awaits!
Another of my passions is animals. I grew up in close contact with pets so now I don’t like to miss an opportunity to take my friends’ dogs for long walks and a good play. My love of animals also means I’m very conscious of climate change and how I need to do my bit for the environment.
I also enjoy reading, a hobby that I took to from an early age. I couldn’t imagine ever travelling without a book! Becoming an avid reader motivated and helped me through my education. I completed all my studies in Spain, graduating from the University of Extremadura with a four-year degree in Podiatry. I also spent a further year specializing in Diabetes.
