Neus Llacér Garcia

My name is Neus. I know it’s a bit difficult to pronounce – I hear lots of funny variations of it every day.

I am proud and happy to be a podiatrist. Ever since I started studying podiatry (my degree is from the University of Barcelona), I’ve found that I just don’t want to ever stop learning and growing my knowledge. I love spending time with my patients, taking care of them and creating the best possible treatment plans for them.

I am fascinated by the big, interesting and diverse world we live in. As a result, I have travelled to many different countries. One of my biggest trips involved crossing the whole of Southeast Asia by bicycle! I slept in a tent and spent my time with the local people. Every time I travel, I learn something new. I feel enriched by experiencing different cultures.

Before coming to England, I worked in Qatar. It was an amazing experience, about which I feel so proud. That said, after experiencing so much desert and city life I am happy to be here now in this very green and pleasant country.

On my days off I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my rescue cats and my partner. We love being outside surrounded by nature, while trekking, cycling, or having picnics.
